Im having problems starting gaim for my first time. Im running slackware 10, im new to linux, but not to computers in general. This is my first linux install, and when i start gaim, or kopete even, it says my password is wrong for yahoo. Ive had my yahoo account for about 7 years, i know its right, whats going on here?????

Yahoo is always changing its connection and code around thus making constant updates for gaim to keep up. Try upgrading gaim to latest version and also make sure your using the correct plugin for yahoo in you account setup.
