gaim problem


i recently tried to compile Gaim from source. When i log in and try to im someone it closes. I noticed that when i try to search on Google it does the same thing. I noticed this only after i installed Gaim. I don't care to get Gaim working but how do i get ride of it? make uninstall in the dir i compliled from?

i just noticed that my man pages aren't working either now.

This isn't an answer to your solution, but may I ask why you installed it from source? Fedora Core 2 uses the RedHat Package Management system (rpm) and Gaim's website provides an rpm for the Fedora Core 2 system. I can tell you from personal experience that installing rpms made for your OS are much simpler.

i noticed that the google problem seem to be an isolated incident, however i still can't view man pages. If this has happened to anyone and they know how to fix it i'd appreciate the help. thanks
