I have been using GAIM for the past month, and all of a sudden, during GAIM account sign on, it gets stuck at the connecting part.
What should I do?

99.9% of your problems with AIM on GAIM will be AOL's crap servers.

The MSN account was not working at the time either. Would that still be due to AOL?

No.
Then your internet connection must have gone foul or something at the time... who knows... aren't you happy it fixed itself though, instead of having to recompile your kernal or something? ;-)

Nah, more likely due to MSN
Actually, it could be a bit on the authentication mechanism each server uses. Sometimes they might be a bit more touchy than others?
All I can say is I've been there too, the problems auto-resolve themselves most of the time, therefore, I too, blame the servers (my software doesn't change...)
Cool
