GAIM/Kopete alternatives?

I've been using Xandros 4.0 and Kopete for a few weeks, and really like it. I prefer GAIM over Kopete, but for some reason, everytime I install it, it just doesn't want to work. The Icon comes up in my applications menu, but when I select it, I get an hourglass for 10-15sec, then it shuts down.

Kopete works fine, I just don't care for it. Are there any Linux alternatives to Kopete/GAIM? Whatever it is, would need to support MSN, AIM, ICQ and Yahoo to meet my needs...

Thanks
IGF

Uh yeah, I think there is.

It's called "Everybuddy" if I remember correctly.
