Gaim idle time reporting: "x usage" option disappeared

This is interesting. The version of Gaim that came with Slack 10 had this option available, which tells your idle time based on the last time you moved your keyboard and mouse. When I compiled/installed Gaim 1.1.0, however, this option disappeared. The manpage makes it clear that this option may not be universally available, but I wonder why it wouldn't work on a pretty standard Slackware installation, especially when it was working before. I couldn't find any compile-time options, either. Any ideas?

I'm not sure why you don't have that option.

In Preferences, when you click on "Away/Idle" you don't see "Idle" and a drop down box for "Gaim Usage"?

There are a bunch of plugins. Maybe you have to enable a plugin?

No, the "idle" option is there, but the option to set idle time based on X usage (as opposed to "none" or "gaim usage" ) isn't there anymore. I'm not sure why not, however...
