gaim and dependiencies
I hate rpms sometimes ---- i got brave and downloaded the newer version of gaim for fun, tried to install it, and it's demanding a dependency called --\\
error: Failed dependencies:
libgtkspell.so.0 is needed by gaim-0.67-1
i've searched for this, and obviously i have it installed because gaim ran fine before i decided to do this...
what's really weird is when i try to un-install it -- it tells me that it's not installed, but when i try to install it again -- it says it's installed... beats the hell out of me what the deal is... but i remeber there is some way i can tell it to download the dependencies (?) FYI -- runnin redhat 9 on an intel box
thanks

also if running in the commandline intimidates you, you can use the apt-get utility the guy above me mentioned to get a GUI for it. just do
apt-get install synaptic
and it will install synaptic for you, all you then need to do is run synaptic and you can sort through the RPMs, you have and don't have. and if you tell it to install a package it will (tell you) and download all the dependencies for that specific package. hope this helps ^_^

netboy_541,
You can still get to their site. There is a link at the bottom of the page. I think they just changed their index page. Try the link below.
