g77 for opensuse 10.3

Hi,

I am installing a software which needs g77 ready first. However, the g77 at ftp://ftp.gnu.org is too old and could not be used for me. Is it possible to replace "g77" by "gfortran" in file "configure"? Thanks in advance!

A current version of gfortran should be available via your package manager. In Fedora we have the "compat-gcc-34-g77" packages(and similar) to use g77, again something similar should be available via you package manager.
