Fun Software for Linux List


Continue the list, so people like me and others can see whats the best reasont o use Linux instead of winblows:

1.) XMMS - Media Player
2.) GTK-Gnutella - File Sharing
3.) ripperX - nice and fast mp3 ripper
4.) tux racer - gotta love this cool game!

StarOffice or OpenOffice = Office suite's
Abiword = Wordprocessor
Apache = Webserver
Sendmail or Qmail = Mailservers
mySQL = Database
The Gimp = Image Manipulation
Mplayer = Acids favorite, if you don't use it, he'll get mad
vi = Text Editor
Proftpd or Wu-Ftpd = FTP servers

Ah man.. there is too many to list, Linux is just better, cause there are so many alternatives.
