FTP Server Help

I was just curious if anyone here could lend a hand, or provide some links on how to setup the ftp server?

Currently it's working, and any users that I have added to the system have access to their own DIRs.

But what I want, is to be able to setup an account (no /home/username is needed), and let them have certain rights to a mounted drive, or a folder(s) on a mounted drive. Basically, I want to make some other location their root dir.

I'm currently looking around elsewhere, but since I came to the forum to post something else, I thought that I might as well ask while I'm here

sorry 'bout that
I'm have proftpd-1.2.7mdk, running on mandrake 9.1
Also, I can add users, and set their home DIR to /mnt/drive BUT, they can go back, and access the other drives as well ...
