ftp client that supports multiple threads?

Hello everyone, i am fairly new to linux and was curious if anyone knew of a graphical ftp client that supports the download of multiple threads simultaniously? Smartftp does this in windows, but so far i have been unable to find an equivalent in linux. Any Help would be greatly appreciated!
