ftp as guest

I've just installed redhat 8.0, and I would like to know how to log into an ftp server as a guest, using the command line utility. When I say guest I mean in the same manner a browser such as Internet Explorer logs me into a ftp server without requiring me to log in. Being able to ftp a redhat mirror for software updates/additions would be faster than my current system of putting the rpms on floppy on another computer, then installing from floppy.

Thanks for your help

Most public ftp servers use anonymous/email for the username/password combo.

Have a look at gFTP, it should be installed already, type 'gftp' to start it.
