fstab-sync Fedora Core 3
ok i disabled fstab sync because it hought it was messing up soemthign that i was having trouble with. i would like to enable it again. The man pages said to disable it make the symlink point to /bin/false but i dont knopw what it was poitning to at first, and i messed with the cdrom entries and i was wondering how to get them back to how fstab-sync had them

Hey man,
My fstab-sync is a binary executable. I maybe you should try reinstalling it via RPM.

Automatic updates of the /etc/fstab file by the fstab-sync program from the HAL daemon
can be disabled by changing the 50-fstab-sync.hal symlink in /etc/hal/device.d directory
to point to /bin/false
A look at 50-fstab-sync.hal properties shows that it points to /usr/sbin/fstab-sync
