fsck on boot
I recently was forced to power down my linux box ungracefully.
When it rebooted it recognized that one or more filesytems where not unmounted properly and stated that pressing y would force an in depth file system check. However, by the time I noticed, it was too late to hit y. My question is: How can I force fsck to do an in depth check on my boot partition on startup? Best Regards, Hedgehog |
On my system, if a file /forcefsck is present at boot, it checks.
