freezingI


I recently installed Mandrake on a compact and Im having problems with it freezing after a few minutes of using it.

Can you give us a little more detail about how it crashes? Perhaps a detailed description of everything that happens from the pressing of the power button to the crash?

Another thing to try... add noacpi to the boot line and see if you have better luck.

well.... It fixed itself cuz it doesn't freeze up anymore. no clue what it was. however Im having problems installing the whole libmsn thing to connect to msn users. Everytime i download a file it cant install it because i need another file. Is there a package thats complete?
