I am attempting to get "FreeRide" to install on Ubuntu Hardy and I have the Linux installer and have followed what few instructions I have found and once I make the permission changes and select run, nothing happens at all, and I mean nothing, just sits there.
Any suggestions?

I guess you should be more specific in a forum, dude..
What about you show the procedure you followed to install?
If you are sure the program was installed, try to run it by command line and copy the output here.

My apologies, I don't usually use the forums, so I am a noob when it comes to this.
Downloaded the Linux installer as directed, right clicked the installer and
changed the permissions for the administrator to have full rights, then select the box to "Allow executing file as a program. Once all that has been completed I close out and right click and when the dialog box opens I select run. The installer just sits there and does nothing. I have let it sit there for at least an hour before cancelling it.
Just not sure what is going on with this.
Unfortunately I can't locate the article I was using as an outline for this piece of software now.
