I have been messing around with freeNX for two weeks and finally have a problem narrowed down.

I cannot connect reliably to my linux server at home with my XP box at work. This is the only computer that is causing me problems. I have installed the nomachine client on multiple computers inside my office and at other locations and all work fine. My work PC works about 25% of the time. The majority of the time I get an error when the client is trying to negotiate a session with the server. If I immediately try again, again, and again it will then successfully create an XSession.

One other thing, it only is successful after it pops up the session administrator box and gives me the option to terminate, resume, or create a new session. When this box pops up I select to terminate the existing session and then click on the new button. This seems to work pretty consistently.

I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client. Any other ideas?
