freeglut problem, "Unable to create direct context rendering"
Hi, I'm facing a problem similar as:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...cation-799952/ I think it might caused by lack of Intel graphic driver, so searched '2) Mesa 3D GL driver' might be fit in http://intellinuxgraphics.org/download.html How can I get installed intel graphic driver in [r]? Which module appropriate? ---------- Environment: - Windows XP 32bit [c]lient has SSH connection to the [r]emote server - [c] has running X windows server (Xming), and a terminal emulator (TeraTerm) logged in [r] properly $ pymol freeglut (pymol): Unable to create direct context rendering for window 'PyMOL Viewer' This may hurt performance. ... The problem is that you're doing this over ssh. How can you're GL application get direct access to the video hardware when that hardware is on another machine?

Thanks, I see how the graphic driver is detected depends on detecting itself directly or not.
