Free/Opensource SSL VPN?
Not OpenVPN!
Does anyone know of a drop-in, turnkey solution for SSL VPN that is free? Usually I would use OpenVPN, or a combination of Putty and OpenBSD, but this has to be configured and maintained by someone that is not tech savvy after my initial set up.
So, a free, graphical, turnkey solution for SSL VPN?

One possibility is ... a VPN-equipped router box. Most routers actually have this capability built-in.

What exaclty would that "non tech savvy" person maintain and configure once you get the VPN working? Add new users, revoke old users. That's pretty much it, isn't it?
In case you go with a PKI based VPN solution (and you should!), that means that all you need to be able to do is to generate new certificates and revoke old ones.
So, you are actually looking for a graphical solution for a Certificate Authority! gnomint is quite nice.

Set up routes to any new subnets
Manage access to applications
Debug connection issues
Add/remove users
Maybe set up allowed subnets by user?
I had this set up on a Juniper SA for a company. With one page of instructions they were able to point and click their way through most of these things.
I was just reaching out to the community to see if an opensource/free gui based alternative to buying a big Juniper SA/Barracude/Some other expensive hardware/.. existed yet.
Thanks for the pointers.
