framebuffer higher refreshrate?

I compiled kernel 2.6.11.2 and enabled VESA framebuffer. in lilo.conf I put
Code:
vga = 0x318
Now my console works in 1024x768@60Hz.

Is there a way to make it work on a higher refreshrate?
I have a nvidia graphics card.
