After you configured your phpBB you get the message that your config file couldn't be overwritten (for some reason) and it asks you if you want to download the configuration file to your pc.
Download the file
Then upload the file to your phpBB directory.
Then all should be working.

Yes.
Usualy when you configure your forum it puts the database connection settings in that config file. Sometimes and with some serverconfigurations or whatever it can't write in that file. So the setup asks you if you want to download the file. You say yes. Then the file will be on your pc. All you have to then is upload that file.

I have uploaded that file to that location and then what?
I am so confused. Do I need to start the installation again after uploading the file or do i need to run any php script?
I am stuck here. Please do the needful.

Once you uploaded the file it should be working.
Just open the index.php of the forum (it might tell you to remove some directory's, just follow the instructions)
