I think the only that might come close to what you're after is using the RSS feed (of which more might be planned with the upgrades at the weekend) that would let you browse through posts in your RSS reader, but you'd still need to head to the forums as there's no 'Quick Reply' through the RSS feeds unless I'm missing it. You wouldn't be able to browse as such, and I wouldn't see the point. Even assuming you're moving across multiple forums, just open multiple tabs in your web browser and you'd have the same functionality. It's the same with recent thread about an LQ application - not much point in browsing forums and posting through an app rather than a web browser - you can easily bookmark threads you want to keep track of store for future reference.
