Thumbs down Formatting my evil Windoze partition?


I originally installed a dual boot setup on my linux box and now I want to salvage the windows partition and use it strictly for linux....how??? red hat 8 is my flavor

Run fdisk or cfdisk to partition and mkfs to format.

See this section of the Gentoo installation guide for details better than I can type them.

linux doesn't even care what the partition type is,
you can just mke2fs mkreiserfs the partition, and
skip the fdisk stuff if you want.
