If you installed Linux Mint 12 last, it will be the one which handles your GRUB (assuming default settings) - which I believe will be your case. gparted is a utility that is useful in handling partitions. It's home page.

I believe, gparted is installed in Mint by default. if not, you can easily install it using sudo apt-get install gparted.

All partitions are visible in Windows. Some file systems are not visible.

EDIT: all partitions should be visible in Windows. If you prefer command line tools to graphical tools then fdisk, cfdisk and parted are usually available. I prefer cfdisk. If questions asked on LQ are a guide, parted is seldom used and partition problems are most likely using gparted.
