formatting floppy for sbootmgr

I'm trying to create a system boot manager using my floppy link . I get an error on dos prompt after hitting enter "can't figure out how many sector's/track for this diskette"

I'm trying to boot from USB B: floppy drive that i can configure the CD boot problem i'm experiencing for Slackware 11 iso d1 file...
Does this have to do with how i formatted the disk B:?

its not clear to me what you are trying to achieve so forgive me for my comments.

1) are you having trouble with your current bootloader installed on a hard drive?

2) are you aware there is the smartbootmananger that can be used to install to floppy or cdr that offers options if you do not want to edit your hard drive bootloader such as grub?

3) personally....floppy booting is not slowwww.

boot, manager
