formatting


is there and diskmangers for windows that are really good that you would recemmend. something like partition magic and such?

Well, for linux there is basically fdisk. There are plenty of front ends for it, depends on what distor you have installed. I know mandrake comes with a nice gui for fdisk (diskdrake?).

qtparted on the knoppix cd is really good. Not sure if your talking about windows as in microsoft or the window system on linux, but it will work on both.
