force apps in specific virtual desktops

Do you know if it's possible to force the windows manager to open a specific program in a specific virtual desktop?
I know fluxbox can do it, but I'd like to get the same thing on KDE.
For example I want Kwrite to open every time in desktop number 3 even if I'm currently in number 1.
Thanks ;)

If you're using KDE 3.3.x, this is can be done. Following your example:
- Open Kwrite
- Right-click on the title bar
- Choose Advanced -> Special window settings...
- Select the top-most option, click ok
- In the next screen, go to the "Geometry" tab
- Check the box for "desktop", select "force" from the list, and choose the desktop. Apply the settings, and next time you start Kwrite, it will go to the desktop you specified.

Anyone know if this is possible with Gnome or Blackbox?
