For the love of all....... Red Hat / Prism2 wireless card ||| How To |||

Can someone please post the instructions to get a prism2 (Netgear MA401 16 bit card) working on any version of Red Hat. I just want it to work and don't have a clue. I have spent about 15 hours and no luck.

But on with your problem, can you post more details, you said you spent 15 hours trying stuff, can you post some of that so we don't repeat ourselves in giving you suggestions, etc? More details please, that's when questions usually go unanswered, cause the person asking didn't provide enough details.

The support for Prism 2 in stock Red Hat Linux is broken. Try the WLAN-NG drivers, available as RPMs from They worked for me both in Red Hat 8.0 and Red Hat 9. I haven't tried the Fedora Core 1 drivers, but they are available.
