Fonts Question

Hi,

I installed the slackware package of the core fonts at (http://corefonts.sourceforge.net), and I havnt seen any of them anywhere, for example in open office, kwrite, koffice none of the new fonts are there, Any ideas if i need to set anything up for them to work?

Its been awhile since I used slack, but is your X server configured to use TTF fonts, and have you rebuild the fonts cache since you installed them.

Hey thanks, I have no idea how to rebuild the font cache, please could you explain it to me, and i also dont know how to check if X is configured for TTF fonts.

In all likelyhood your X server can use TrueType fonts because it has to be compiled in.
