Unhappy Fonts are bigger??

I upgraded my kernel, and fglrx while I was at it, now everything seams bigger! The windows decoration, the fonts in aMSN are terrible, although firefox seams unaffected...

What can I do to restore my nice fonts?

(I disabled kernel hacking, debugging, and the radeonfb drivers)

thanks

I changed back to my older kernel.

Although, I still want to know why it didn't work. I looked at logs and everything, here is the *real* problem: EDID information isn't processed correctly, there was an error. My older gentoo patched kernel handled EDID correctly, the new ones doesn't, therefore, the Vsync, Hsync, DPI, everything, was wrong...

ideas?
