fontconfig expat xml parse PROBLEMS!!
 

Hi! I have, for the most part, successfully installed The Gimp. However, I am having a hard time printing from The Gimp. Well, I tried to install the printer-gimp drivers yet it told me I needed this and this and that, until I finally narrowed it down to fontconfig. Well, I go to configure it, and it cannot find expat2 and xml parser.... Now I don't know what to do. I looked for more source for those but just got confused. I am really new to linux so please tell me in a way I can understand. I don't know why Gimp installed correctly (except for the printer drivers) because I did not install pango, atk, or any of those other prelim programs. In fact, I was having lots of problems with installing everything, yet one day when I started my session, it just appeared! It totally works. I can draw, make pictures, yada yada. I'm a bit confused, kinda just flying by with what little I know.... so please, if anyone could help I would love it. Right now I print by just opening my picture I made in Gimp and opening it in openoffice, and it works. Though, I would like to configure everything so it works how it should. :) Thanks for your help. :)
