folder sync between Windows and Linux

Hello!
At home I use 2 computers, desktop where Win XP resides and, notebook where Ubuntu Intrepid resides. The PCs are in LAN.
Now I would like to sync a folder so that newer content is available on both PCs.

How do I do that?
