Short answer: yes.

Longer answer:
The FOG Client is responsible for all of the features of FOG listed here: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/ind...Client_Service
Among those is active directory integration.
As I understand it, here's what happens when you download an image from the server to a client:
1. It downloads the image to the hard drive and reboots.
2. Windows goes through its sysprep and setup.
3. When Windows finishes, it reboots. At this point, the FOG Client service is running.
4. The FOG Client checks in with the server, and the server tells the client the hostname it should have and the Active Directory information you entered on the FOG web interface
5. The FOG Client uses this information to register with the Active Directory, then reboots the computer.

The FOG client is also responsible for rebooting the computer when you schedule a job in the FOG web interface, such as hardware inventory, image, or anything else.
