fluxspace can't find imlib2

Hi,

I have installed imlib2, but fluxbox configure file cannot find it, so what should i do, here is the relevent part of my config.log.

| /* Override any gcc2 internal prototype to avoid an error. */
| #ifdef __cplusplus
| extern "C"
| #endif
| /* We use char because int might match the return type of a gcc2
| builtin and then its argument prototype would still apply. */
| char imlib_create_image ();
| int
| main ()
| {
| imlib_create_image ();
| ;
| return 0;
| }

I'm having this same problem. Did you ever fix this? If not, can anyone help? Does it have anything to do with badly referencing libm.so? Thanks.

I don't think it can't find imlib - the output suggests that imlib can't find whatever library contains the functions "cos", "sin" and "pow".

After some research, I came across some debian packages of libImlib2 that fix these dependencies in libm.

imlib2 (1.1.0-6) unstable; urgency=low

* converted to CDBS
> * src/Makefile*: added -lm to LDFLAGS
* moved imlib2.pc to the -dev package
* removed debian/compat and debian/docs
* updated to Standards-Version: 3.6.1.

The debian packages are now up to 1.1.0-12, but since I use Slackware, I used alien to convert to tgz packages. Installing the new aplha version of libImlib2 got rid of the pow/cos/sin dependencies during the ./configure and the ./configure finished error-free. However, running fluxspace still yields

: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/bin/fluxspace", line 15, in ?
import fluxspace
File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/fluxspace.py", line 4, in ?
import _fluxspace
ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/_fluxspace.so: undefined symbol: imlib_image_get_height

This makes me think that the libm dependencies have nothing to do with this error. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

I just install imlib2 and imlib2-devel and it worked fine
