Fluxbox window grouping problem

Hey guys. I've recently installed fluxbox to try it out and I'm having an odd problem with it. I'm trying to use the window grouping feature but it's just not working right. It's quite strange. Sometimes it'll work fine. Other times I'll try it and it just doesn't work at all. It usually takes at least three or four attempts before I can get it to work. It seems like the middle click isn't always being registered properly. Like I click and drag it but fluxbox only sees the click. Or thinks I've released it when I haven't. It's really sporadic. I have no clue what the problem is.

I'm using version 1.1.1-1 in Ubuntu Jaunty. Any ideas?

Is there a chance that you can try another mouse? Sometimes the midclick is not easy to hold while dragging a window, overall when the button is a wheel.

I don't really have another mouse to try and I'm pretty sure that's not the problem. The mouse is a pretty nice one. Fairly new. The scroll wheel is quite solid and doesn't seem the least bit slippery. Nothing about it's clicking action would suggest it as the culprit. I've never any problems with it. I suppose it's possible that it's a hardware issue but I really don't think so.
