Alright when I try to make a *.jpg file my desktop background through fluxbox it gives me this:

fbsetbg: Something went wrong while setting the wallpaper.

I am running Slackware 10, yes... i am a noob... so if anyone could gimme a link or something to download the format... if that is the prob that'd be great. I've tried everything i know of.

I'm not sure what the error is. Missing jpeg support? If you don't have libjpeg listed in /var/log/packages install it.

i've got it in there.... libjpeg-6b-1386-4 is in /var/log/packages
