fluxbox menu help

I run fluxbox 0.9.10 as my wm and all has been great. Yesterday I was playing with WINE a lot and I emerged GIMP but this morning when I ran fluxbox-generate_menu to update with my new apps, it broke my menu Now I've got an empty fluxbox menu. The submenus are all there but they're empty, I've tried restarting X and even the system but no luck, still fairly new to fluxbox so I don't know where else I could look and I don't feel like writing my own ~/.fluxbox/menu if I can help it. I've regened my menu plenty of times before and it's always worked, dunno what went wrong this time...

Any tips would be great, ta

Just some more info, ~/.fluxbox/menu contains all the correct data, everything appears properly in the file, it's just not displayed when I right-click for some reason.

Did you check closely for any typos in it, extra characters.. I did that once and it would only read down to the part where it didn't recognize an extra [ I had in it... perhaps yours has one up near the top somewhere, etc...

Also check the permissions of it and or try to mv that menu to something like menu.old and recreate another using it as a template, etc.

I had a look at the dir and there was menu, menu.bak and menu~, thought that was weird because I hadn't created any of the extra files so I deleted them all, mv'ed menuconfig away and did a full fluxbox-generate_menu with all the params and it worked. Thanks for the help
