fluxbox hotkeys not working

I can't seem to figure out fluxbox's hotkey abilities.

In my ~/.fluxbox/keys" directoy I've got
"Mod1 a :ExecCommand aterm"

from what I've read, this should enable me to press "alt+a" to open my aterm.
Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

did your check your ~/.fluxbox/init and check if key file is setted to "/.fluxbox/keys"

should be something like this:
session.keyFile: ~/.fluxbox/keys

don't forget to restart flux or reload config after you mod the file.

Yes. I have session.keyFile: ~/.fluxbox/keys
in the init file.

I restarted fluxbox and everythink works now.
