fluxbox-debian/ubuntu xterm problem


My box has ubuntu running with fluxbox....great!! wonderful!! When at the command line (before starting x) i apt-get install xterm. It says it is installed and updated.

I run x, it goes into fluxbox, i go to apps, i cant find xterm? where is xterm? how do i get it in that menu?

anyone know?

As always I tried to give the LONG way first ... :-( even though their is a much simpler way ...

Install fluxconfig pkg.. it has a menu mgmt routine (fluxmenu) that edits your ~/.fluxbox/menu file..

man fluxbox gives you ALL the details of the menu file format (which is really super simple) ...

Mr Mike used fluxbox for about 14-18 months... He then went to Windowmaker and is now playing with Enlightenment... Maybe one day I'll know what I want to do with I grow up... LOL..
