Unhappy FLOPPY DiSc ConVERSION!!

Hey fellow LinuX users/Abusers. I was really thinking,,, there must be SOME way to convert the Files on a CD distro to a set of Floppy Discs. I know it sounds awkward & arcane ., but I have an old TOSHIBA Satellite Laptop that I would like to put A smalll LinUX partition on to use besides Win 3.11 and OS/2 2.1 ( Iam using the IBM 0S/2 BOOTLOADER)

The Distro that I was thinking of is DAMN SMALL LinuX , It is only 50 MBytes from what I gather. I should have Plenty of space on it < 4 gb > hdrive and 16 mb RAM. I don,t have the Luxury o f a SERIAL or PARALLEL port external CD-ROM ,Neither do Ihave an InTERNAL CD-rom on this "VIntage" Laptop .

Just Cosidering the Possibilities.

Thanx ,chilibowl

Don't know how you'd get even a small distro like that onto floppies. There are bootable floppy disk versions around, but they don't do much - basically not much use for anything other than rescue disks.

But have you considered using a USB pen drive instead? (I'm assuming the laptop has a USB port somewhere?)

Just a thought
