FLightgear on mandrake 8.2


Hi
I have been trying to install flight gear on mandrake 8.2.
I have been able to take care of plib but now I am stuck on SimGear !

I am using the UIUC version that is not different from the standard one i think.
When i try installing it using given using "autogen.sh" , it doesn't work.
The following is the error message that it creates while trying to run
autogen:

ERROR: autoheader didn't create simgear/simgear_config.h.in!

Could someone please help me out a bit in this regard?
