FLightgear on mandrake 8.2

I have been trying to install flight gear on mandrake 8.2.
I have been able to take care of plib but now I am stuck on SimGear !

I am using the UIUC version that is not different from the standard one i think.
When i try installing it using given using "" , it doesn't work.
The following is the error message that it creates while trying to run

Running autoheader
/usr/bin/m4: No such file or directory
ERROR: autoheader didn't create simgear/!


Could someone please help me out a bit in this regard?
