flashplayer/mozilla problems

I just installed mozilla 1.4 and tried to install the flash player. I ran the install script, checked my plugins folder, it now contains the libflashplayer.so and flashplaer.xpt, but i can't view anything with flash? What's up with that??

Oh and i didn't have the flash player before (i just clean installed slackware 9)

Did you install it as root or user? It works perfectly for me with Mozilla 1.3, works with flash and shockwave, which are the same, or so I've heard...

In Mozilla's address bar, type 'about:plugins', does it appear there?
