Flashplayer and YouTube

I installed the latest flash player and I can watch the video on youtube, but I can't hear any sound. I get an error in my terminal when I watch a video on the site:

Code:

ALSA lib confmisc.c:1251:(snd_func_refer) error evaluating name
ALSA lib conf.c:3510:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_refer returned error: No such device
ALSA lib conf.c:3982:(snd_config_expand) Evaluate error: No such device
ALSA lib pcm.c:2145:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1207:(_snd_pcm_hw_open) Invalid value for card
ALSA lib confmisc.c:768:(parse_card) cannot find card '0'
ALSA lib conf.c:3510:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_driver returned error: No such device
ALSA lib confmisc.c:392:(snd_func_concat) error evaluating strings
ALSA lib conf.c:3510:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_concat returned error: No such device
ALSA lib confmisc.c:1251:(snd_func_refer) error evaluating name
ALSA lib conf.c:3510:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_refer returned error: No such device
ALSA lib conf.c:3982:(snd_config_expand) Evaluate error: No such device
ALSA lib pcm.c:2145:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1207:(_snd_pcm_hw_open) Invalid value for card

I just get a bunch of that? Any ideas on a fix?

Thank you!

Do you have trouble with any other audio devices? It is indicating that the alsa libraries are not finding a sound card on the system. I assume that you do have one, so alsa is mistaken here.

Yes, I've managed to get sound to work for everything else. I use Mplayer. I can download the youtube videos and then watch them with Mplayer, but it doesn't work for when I go to the site. I also can't do things on myspace either, pretty much anything with Flash. I've asked help from friends with slack but they haven't been able to figure it out either. :-/

Did you ever figure this out?

I'm running into a similar problem after moving from Slackware 12.0 to Slackware 12.1:
