Flash problems

I am currently have macromedia flash player 6 installed on both mozilla and opera. If I try to play flash files however, it plays insanely slow. Are there settings somewhere that I can fool around with to optimize it?

I don't think that there are any settings, but I may very well be wrong. (Anybody else care to chime in?)

I noticed something similar with FlashPlayer on my system, too. It may not be the plugin itself, but the compiler used to compile it. I'm pretty sure that pre-compiled plugins like these are compiled using gcc 2.95.3. It might just be the compiler.

... which is to say, there might not be anything that you can do...

trying to install netscape 7.1 for windows using wine and it will install about halfway then I get this error:

fixme:ntdll:NtOpenProcessToken (0xffffffff,0x00000008,0x406d2730): stub
fixme:ntdll:NtQueryInformationToken (0xcafe,4,0x406d273c,1024,0x406d272c): stub
fixme:msvcrt:_XcptFilter (-1073741819,0x405c08dc)semi-stub
wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger...
err:seh:start_debugger Couldn't start debugger ("debugger/winedbg 34 76") (2)
Read the Wine Developers Guide on how to set up winedbg or another debugger

Can anyone tell me what happened and how to fix it?
