Flash Players Generally

I am finding flash to be a real PITA recently. Are others having similar issues? What are the viable alternatives to libflashplayer.so?

For video content I usually resort to the youtube-dl script.
I really wish websites would stop using flash altogether. html5 is better than flash and works in virtually all browsers now.

yes, flash is PITA.

the best alternative is to use official google chrome... and i hate that.

pepperflash wrapper seems to work well enough, but with some misses.
