You use nspluginwrapper.

[root@localhost Download]# rpm -ivh nspluginwrapper-1.0.0

peeths003 11-12-2008 12:12 PM

Hey Guys ... the plugins 'npwrapper.nppdf.so' & 'nppdf.so' was installed to '/root/.mozilla/plugin' directory

I copied them to current user mozilla plugin directory and it worked ..... awesome .... :))

I have used http://www.linuxheadquarters.com/how.../flash64.shtml for the installation of nswrapper plugin and viewer ... it is solved now ... :)

Thanks everyone ...

But i think still there is an issue with the shockwave player

This is how I get the Adobe test page now ..

In this as you can see .. the flash Player is working fine but the shockwave player is not :(

is there any workaround ?

Thanks
Peeths

There's no Shockwave player for Linux.

peeths003 11-12-2008 02:26 PM

Thank you so much for the help .... (:))

Well, if you really want to use shockwave, you can try wine:

Hey .. I installed Fedora 10 and now since the 64 bit flash player is available i directly installed from that ...

Adobe repository must be installed
* Install the Flash Plugin

Quote:

su -c 'yum install flash-plugin'
* If you don't hear audio during playback of flash video just install packet called libflashsupport

Quote:

su -c 'yum install libflashsupport'
Installation without Adobe repository: Install Flash Player 10:

* 64bit Flash

Make sure to uninstall flash-plugin, libflashsupport and nspluginwrapper before you do these steps

Quote:

wget http://download.macromedia.com/pub/l...6_64.so.tar.gz
tar xvzf libflashplayer-10.0.d20.7.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz -C ~/usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins
restart Firefox

Thanks

Have you considered just, maybe, installing the 64 bit Flash plugin for Linux?

In case you've been living in a cave on Mars for the past 6 months you can get it from here.
