Question flash in Linux?


Does macromedia make a flash for Linux? If not how do I install it? and also how do I install fonts?

cd into the folder

./flashplayer-installer


ps: thats for the source


for the rpm

rpm -Uvh filename.rpm

sorry. if you downloaded the source which ends with .tar.gz
the best thing for you to do is right click on the file and choose extract here. then open that folder and right click again and choose open terminal and then type ./flashplayer-installer

when I right click the 2nd one there is no open terminal

open the folder and right click inside that folder and it has to say (open terminal here)

ps:what distro are you using?

EXAMPLE
also you can do this
1- open terminal from the menu
2- if the folder is on /home/user/flash-player
3- type cd /home/user/flash-player then enter
4- then type: ./flashplayer-installer

also I should of mentioned that I was in gnome, I switched to kde and now it works
