Flash Drive On Kde

I am running Debian Sarge 3.1. I have been using gnome for a while, one day for no reason I decided to try KDE. After using it for about a month I decided that I prefer KDE. My only problem is that it does not detect my flash drive when I plug it in. Gnome detects it just fine and even pops the folder open for me upon connection. Is there some kinda trick to KDE in getting this to work?

Did you check the devices folder? Is it even mounted?

Seeing as how I can access it through gnome, I did not think to check the devices folder. What exactly would I be looking for there?

Can you mount it at all? Try something like

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/whatever_directory

as root

(depending on whats in your fstab you might be able to do this as a user)
