I have stopped using that thing a while ago. I use the HTML5 video viewer. If you watch some YT (as I do) then setting that up for HTML5 is easy, YT provdes a page for that :) Way back when I started, I used to have gnash instaled...I doubt if it's still active though... Save for a few stuborn and backward sites (de redactie being one of them) pretty much anything flashy is within reach... Melissa |

VLC I think has a plugin too tho you can't speed the videos up like if downloaded them. ;) https://search.creativecommons.org/ I use Prime, HULU and such so feel forced in to Chrome these ® days, at lest we can still install a script blocker. Have fun! :) |
While not an alternative, you can use the freshplayer wrapper to use the pepperflash plugin in Firefox. I use it on my Debian machines, and it works great for me.
