Flash 9 installation problem

I would like to install flash player 9 for Slackware 11.0 on a 2.6.16.9 kernel. When I run the installer as root I get this dialog Please enter the installation path of the Mozilla, SeaMonkey,
or Firefox browser (i.e., /usr/lib/mozilla):
I went to the example directory and I did have a /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins directory there, but when I typed /usr/lib/mozilla it just kept asking for a valid installation directory like so.

Please enter the installation path of the Mozilla, SeaMonkey,
or Firefox browser (i.e., /usr/lib/mozilla): /usr/lib/mozilla
dir= /usr/lib/mozilla

WARNING: Please enter a valid installation path.

Download the latest package:
wget http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...9_linux.tar.gz

Open it with whatever you use but only extract "libflashplayer.so" and ignore everything else.

Drag and drop (or use a CLI) "libflashplayer.so" in /home/user/.mozilla/plugins

If this map doesn't already exist, first create it:
mkdir .mozilla/plugins

Next it should just work.

Thank you, I followed your advice with one exception; I put libflashplayer.so in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. Now, all the users can play flash video. Yippeeeeeeeeee!
