Flash 8 firefox in Ubuntu

I am trying to get some Flash 8 sites to actually display in my browser. It seems everything I read that Flash 8 doesnt work on Firefox yet. Is there anything I can use to get the Flash 8 stuff to work?

As far as I know, flash 8 won't work in linux, adobe never realeased a linux version of flash 8. The only way I know to get it to work is to install the Windows' Firefox with WINE and then install Flash 8 for that Firefox in WINE.
There are reports that with 8.5 comes out, that there will be a Linux version.
